Barefoot Sue | The Ice is Calling @barefootsue | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated May 02 2024
Is it possible that the Great Mother Earth is calling to us from the ice? Inviting us to her world, even in the freezing cold, to offer her wisdom and healing. YES! Of course, she is using every method possible to encourage us to experience and feel her cold, not as a threat but as a way to access our own inner fire.
For years now I've been barefooting in the snow but now as a Wim Hof Method Instructor, I'm outside in my shorts and a tank top, walking barefoot, doing ice baths and cold plunges. When I'm at my cottage I like to go down to the lake and meditate on the pre-Cambrian granite rock. This morning after doing my breathwork, stretching and then a cold shower, I still wanted to be outdoors in the cold. I can't get enough of her! I went down to the ice and heard her calling. At first it was a rumble and then there was loud crackling sounds that were seemingly reverberating from the pressure of my weight on the ice. As I recorded this experience it occurred to me that she is giving me a message to share with you. Step into the cold, allow yourself to be uncomfortable and soon you will be at peace. If you want to learn more about the numerous health benefits of the Wim Hof Method, check out my workshops. https://www.wimhofmethod.com/activities/whm-fundamentals-workshop-toronto-sue-regan-kenney
