Barefoot Sue | Cool Cubes for an Ice Bath @barefootsue | Uploaded 4 years ago | Updated May 02 2024
In this video you will learn how to make ‘cool cubes’ for your Wim Hof Method cold therapy ice bath.
I was frustrated that the store bought ice or my own ice made with regular ice cube trays only make small cubes. Hence they melt really fast from our body heat, especially when it’s hot out.
My student Jane came up with a great idea. One day she arrived for a plunge with a bag of giant cubes made from muffin tins. Because they were bigger cubes they lasted a lot longer and look really cool in the plunge bath.
Another student Deb had just finished her first WHM Fundamentals course with me and when we talked about making ‘cool cubes’ she suggested I get the silicone muffin molds as it would be easier to get the ice out. excellent idea.
I immediately bought three Silicone trays and discovered that the volume of liquid needed to fill the muffin cup is actually more than needed for any of my metal muffin tins.
See how easy it is to make ‘cool cubes’!
You can buy the silicone molds here: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/master-chef-silicone-muffin-pan-12-cup-0422849p.html
Keep being cool.
