Barefoot Sue | Barefoot Walking on the Camino in Spain @barefootsue | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated May 02 2024
For the last 8 years I've been living a barefoot lifestyle. Each year I walk the Camino in the Spring and again in the Fall and I try to do most of it barefoot. Walking on rock is much easier for me than it looks. Any natural surface is manageable. Large gravel, pavement and concrete are the hardest surfaces. I love being connected to Mother Earth, especially on the Camino as I feel as though I'm connected to all the pilgrims who walked before me. Especially those who walked barefoot.
