Barefoot Sue | Descending Mount Snežka at Wim Hof Winter Expedition in Poland 2016 @barefootsue | Uploaded 1 year ago | Updated May 02 2024
After climbing for a couple of hours in minimal clothes it went to minus 20 C as we got to the Karkonosze biosphere reserve at the top of the mountain, and we were met with 70-80 kms winds! It was the discipline of my breath, willpower, and our primal skills as a group that got me to the top. As Wim taught us, the cold is merciless yet righteous. We were encouraged not to video or take pics on the way up, as we would immediately lose focus and get cold. I tried it and that's what happened so I only have footage of this journey down with my buddy Diana. Because of this experience I became a Wim Hof Method Level 2 Certified Instructor and I love it!
