Invited into a van with two philanthropists on their way to visit a rural village along the Thai-Myanmar border, OTR, a food channel, set out for a three-day adventure of understanding the history of Thai cuisine, a path that would take us to the edge of an active war zone and into communities of people ignored and forgotten by society, and into contact with those fighting to change that.
This is the first full-length OTR Documentary: the story of the Mon, the Karen, and the people who survive on the margins in a place called Sangkhlaburi.
