Let's review each episode of the cult classic Viva Pinata TV series based on the hit game in (mostly)under 90 seconds!
Transcript:
In Too Many Fergys, Les drops his time machine outside of Fergy's house, and the next day, Fergy finds himself staring at himself from the future. And rejoices as he thinks he's finally found someone who gets him. So this is another thing that the show's been doing lately. Between this and the jetpack episode, Les has gone from simply the most logical and observant inhabitant of pinata island, to Nikola Les-La, mad inventor. I don't have as much problem with this as I do with what they did to Fergy, in fact, I'm glad they gave this guy more reasons to like him, but, again, it feels like the show is starting to go through flanderization, where characters are being reduced to one or two exaggerated traits. Which thankfully, Fergy avoids for this segment, as we get to see him having fun with the fact that there are two of him. Including messing with Langston, winning a dance competition, and doing this simultaneous spit thing, which ew. Though if his double is from the future, doesn't he already know everything that's going to happen? And if he has to push his past self into the time machine so the timeline will be preserved, how did he wander into the machine to begin with? Speaking of, that's what happens, except they're both pulled in and the next day, there are three Fergys, all under the impression more Fergys equals more fun. Which it is! Until it isn't, and prime Fergy has to figure out how to power off the machine. And that's the plot, with the humor being how ridiculous things get with more and more Fergys. Especially having Langston trampled by a stampeding herd of them. This was fun, if predictable. Though disappointing, as we all know the thing to do if you're ever caught in a paradox with multiple past versions of yourself is to form a rock band.
