In Motivational Beak, Langston has finally had enough of Paulie and Fergy avoiding party duty, thus sends them to party boot camp, where the drill sergeant Eddie is ready to whip them into shape. But it might end up the other way around. It's the boot camp episode from every show where the two troublemakers are sent to a correctional facility to shape up, and are either given an entire personality makeover, or turn the tables on the instructors. And in this case, it's the latter. Again, I'm not fond of these plots, but it is hilarious just watching the two trolling the sergeant at every turn. They go through an obstacle course, but not in the regulated way. And when they ask how it's done, the sergeant tries to demonstrate, only for them to abuse him every step of the way. Yes, I could get mad they're torturing a guy who technically doesn't deserve it, but these tight collar stick in the mud rules are everything types always feel like they need to be taken down a peg. The whole tone is very Animaniacs-like, and a good example of how a torture episode CAN be funny. Especially as the duo foil every single attempt the sergent employs to get them to behave. And how his dedication to routine ends up injuring himself instead. This is probably the most chaotic I've ever seen Paulie and Fergy, and I love every second of it! To the point I'm not even going to bother telling you what the ending is. You already know. It's another of the season's best segments and great to watch for some deranged fun. And somehow, this is the wrestling match Rory was watching on Paulie's TV earlier.
