Speechless is just all kinds of yikes. Tina wants to relax, but Teddington insists he must practice for his upcoming opera recital. Despite having the range of a kazoo. Oh goody, now we're at the plot where someone is convinced they're good at something, but are actually horrible and won't take any criticism otherwise. Don't we all just love those? Oh, but that's not even the worst part. His singing is so horrible, it literally brings the house down, forcing Tina to swallow multiple pieces of drywall and hardware, which clog up her vocal cords and render her completely mute. Much to Teddington's delight! Yeah, Season Two seems to be dedicated to bringing out the worst of these characters, but Teddington may just be the worst yet! And I'm saying this after witnessing Hudson kidnap and force another Horstachio to become him. Because Teddington literally takes over Tina's life, speaking for her, deciding what she's going to do, and straight up refusing to feed her! All while telling her friends that's what she decided, and even pretending she's the one talking. Holy crap! Teddington is a sick f***! This is worse than Fergy taking advantage of Ella's mental issues to become a tyrant! It's Demolition Doofus Spongebob-levels of sociopathy! And when it looks like it's not just temporary and Tina has permanently lost her voice, Teddington gloats right to her face that he'll be making all the decisions from now on! Uh... Yeah... In case you're somehow blissfully unaware, people taking advantage of the disabled is sadly a very common thing. There are countless cases and even more untold stories of people who have been tortured by official caretakers, close friends, and even family members, because they are physically and/or mentally unable to get help or defend themselves! So you'll excuse me if I don't find this funny in the slightest! Or anything else, like how Teddington finally goes on stage having not improved and tortures the audience, who then form an angry mob and chases after the Twingersnaps. Even with this gag of everyone leaping into a backdrop like this is Looney Tunes, I'm in too much of a sour mood to appreciate it. Or Tina suddenly regaining her voice and proving she's a terrific country singer, which gets them to back off, meaning that Teddington receives no consequences and learns absolutely nothing. Ok. It's official. This is the worst episode of the entire show. Bar none. Hell, it's one of the worst episodes of ANY cartoon I have ever seen! Sitting next to a Wishful Life or Cleanliness is Next To Edness or Screams of Silence as some of the most infuriatingly dismal attempts at animated comedy ever put to screen! This isn't funny! This is Mouthwashing for kids! I'm going to be generous and assume the staff were just ignorant and didn't intend any malice, but this segment made me genuinely sick. There are no positive attributes to this and no reason to watch it. I don't usually advocate for familicide, but there's also no reason at this point for Tina not to chop Teddington off her and feed him to a paper shredder.
