Let's review each episode of the cult classic Viva Pinata TV series based on the hit game in (mostly)under 90 seconds!
Transcript:
In The Transparent Trap, Fergy, desperate for a new way to hide from Langston, buys an invisibility serum from Bonboon. And sure, he's lied the last zillion times, but the zillion and oneth has to be the truth, right? I'm not exactly a fan of Bonboon, but this might be his best appearance in the show. I love watching his snake oil salesman pitch, where he's trying to peddle his tonic to the pinatas, repeatedly correcting himself every time it doesn't do what it's supposed to. And apparently, he was expecting Fergy to ask if it can turn him invisible, as he already has multiple tricks set up to convince him of such. Straight up admitting the formula is a placebo, as Fergy isn't going to know what that means anyway. And then how he sells the illusion is just as genius, where he goes up to Fergy's friends and tells them he sabotaged pinata central. Thus when Fergy shows up, everyone gives him the silent treatment! Though, I dunno, I think the pinatas have WAY too much patience for what Fergy pulls with them. So Fergy thinks he's a superhero and goes off to raid pinata central. Which, thanks to construction, the candiosity meter is down and also can't detect Fergy. Leading him to almost getting sent to a party. And even when Paulie pulls him out at the last minute, Fergy still refuses to believe he isn't invisible. This episode has a great sense of escalation and chain of events that would lead someone like Fergy into thinking they're invisible. With even Ella forgetting she's not supposed to see him not serving as a deterrent. Not a fan of the return of the Mario and Luigi beavers, but still an episode worth a watch. And seriously, when did bunnies become to this show what green skinned women are to Star Trek?
