This is a pretty beefy 3er in terms of player skill here, and on an underplayed map no less!

Yung paid $14 for the 10, then a bit extra for the 12 (rare to see that!), then over $25 for the 22. 10 made nice money since nobody else had coal on turn 2, though i didn't mind my 13 at cost. My play was more than justified when i landed the 15 at cost and some cheap coal!

Meanwhile Funkard got the 20 for around the same price as the 22, which may not have been enough on this ridiculously cheap map. Luckily the market helped me out, allowing me to land 26 at a decent price and the 31 real cheap. Unfortunately Yung got the 30 at cost with no competition in trash...

Seeing that the remaining plants in the deck for Step 3 were very weak overall, i opted to stay at the bottom of the turn order before Step 3. Ended up with 36 after a little bidding, which i thought would be OK, and it led to Yung getting screwed on plant drops for the next 2 turns! Despite being easily the richest player, Yung was never in a spot to end the game early and could never catch up on capacity.

The final turn is one of the tougher spots you'll see on this channel. Since i didn't have coal stored for both 31 & 36, i risked Funkard buying me out and giving the game to Yung. After a lot of thought, i decided to buy 40 to replace 31 and hope that kept Funkard from buying out my resources. This risked losing the game if 38 dropped for Funkard, but that didn't happen and i got my resources to finish the game at 18 cities!

This ending is a really interesting example of the metagaming involved in these multiplayer games. Had i passed on plants, that would've screwed Funkard and probably led him to buy out my resources in response. Giving Funkard a chance to win that didn't pan out was what ultimately kept me safe here!

Also, in case you were wondering, i built to 13 because i figured Yung would end the game otherwise. Don't regret that play considering Yung's turn-order problems gave a lot of incentive to do so.
