The most difficult encounter here was definitely the deathclaw outside. He kind of snuck up on me and hit met pretty hard before I realized what was going on. The combat shotgun made pretty quick work of him though and saved my character's life. Inside the sinkhole itself you'll find a pack of ghouls (including one glowing one) and some radroaches. Nothing overly difficult at this point in the game. There's also a very useful Wasteland Survival Guide and the quest item Grandpa Savoldi's Hat inside.
