This location was pretty difficult for me as well. It's full of super mutants, and they seemed to be of a decently high level. They were hitting me pretty hard at least, and my armor is fully upgraded (about 150/175 now). I was at level 37 when I entered this location, so be careful of you're of similar level and rolling survival difficulty.
There's a couple butchers in here as well as an assortment of other super mutants. A couple were legendaries I believe. The butchers are really the ones to watch out for, especially if they have laser weapons. One of the laser weapons they had was pretty painful for me. Use shotguns when they get close and combat rifles when they're farther away. You can always use sniper rifles as well if you have the opportunity or want the range and accuracy. Be sure to pick up a copy of Live & Love on the way out.
