Shaw high school is fairly small and populated by super mutants and mutant hounds. Be sure to check out the trapdoor in the kitchen. There's nothing overly great down there, but it's worth looting nonetheless. I'd recommend the combat shotgun or combat rifle for this location. Though the gauss rifle works well against any difficult super mutants you'll run into. Don't forget to grab the Unstoppables magazine on your way out.
