Malden Center is home to invading synths and a few remaining raiders fighting it out at the bottom. The location is divided in half by an elevator. The bottom portion is rather small, but the last room has a lot of enemies in it. At the top you'll find quite a few synths and one turret. I'd recommend using a combat rifle against the synth and raiders both honestly. It seems to be the most effective weapon overall, since neither the synth nor the raiders charge you in this location. Well, there's one melee raider at the end, but it's not very difficult to kill him. You'l encounter the named raider Helter Skelter there as well. Be sure to pick up the Tumblers Today magazine in one of the rail cars before going back up the elevator.
