If you accepted the quest from Ness earlier, you'll be facing about 5 or 6 raiders with the help of Ness and 2 gunner mercenaries. You're basically just securing the plane for Ness so she can turn it into scrap. There is an Astoundingly Awesome Tales magazine here, so be sure to pick it up on your way out. You can loot the entire wreck without pissing off Ness, but there's not much here other than the magazine.
