I did as much of this location as I possibly could. There's a key card I need, and I have no idea where it is. I'm guessing it's for a quest, so I just did everything else and I'll come back here later. Regardless, this place was full of gunners for me ending with a gunner commander in power armor. She soaks damage like crazy and hurts, so you'll want to take her out from a distance, or up close with something heavy hitting. I chose a combination of the two with a railway rifle at first followed by a combat shotgun to finish her off. The other gunners are your standard variety. Take them out from a distance with a combat rifle or something similar.
There is one really good reward for getting through the Mass Fusion :Building, but it's easy to miss. The strength bobblehead can be found on top of a statue head attached to the wall at the top accessible floor where you fight the gunner commander. It's right behind the couch. You don't have to jump on the statue's head to get it, but you do have to edge close to the railing. There's also a couple protectrons you can enable, but if you enable the turrets as well and attack them they'll become hostile to you. One of them was legendary for me though, so they were worth killing regardless.
