This location is very easy to clear. There's a couple regular synths and a synth leader. You'll also encounter a couple protectron when you power up the elevator. Remember to change into your regular armor from your hazmat suit while inside the surveillance center. I turned off all the surveillance devices. I'm guessing it doesn't matter, but just in case. Be sure to pick up you U.S. Covert Operations Manual before taking the elevator up.
