A recurring theme in Fallout is the fabled alien blaster. Fallout 4 is no different in this regard. Close to Oberland Station you'll find a section of the forest is aflame. Closer inspection reveals a crashed alien spaceship. Searching around the area reveals a cave with green blood outside (or you can just follow the garbled radio signal as well). Inside you'll find a wounded alien and the source of the radio signal. Upon killing the alien you'll get the alien blaster. A very, very good pistol that uses unique ammo. Luckily you can sacrifice a very small amount of damage to modify the pistol to use fusion rounds.
