Will there be someone on your dinner plate tonight?

Countless animals are slaughtered for the sake of culture and tradition. Their bodies are often cooked and consumed by people who never consider them as the gentle, curious beings they once were.

The slaughter of an animal can never be humane - no matter how they were raised, no matter the manner or age at which they were slaughtered. When you eat an animal, there is violence, suffering and abuse in every bite.

Every time that we sit down to eat, we can make a choice - to be kind, or to be cruel. What choice will you make today?
