This next piggery, owned by Rivalea Australia, is spread over two sites in St Arnaud, Victoria.

In January, dozens of activists investigated twenty piggeries across Victoria, to document and expose the brutal reality endured by farmed pigs.

At St Arnaud, investigators discovered mothers trapped in filthy metal cages nursing their piglets. Some of the piglets had died and were decomposing. Bodies also showed evidence of predation.

Sows kept in group housing were covered in scratches and didn’t even have access to clean drinking water.

Can you imagine the misery and suffering of being a pig on this farm? That is why we are fighting to urgently phase out this industry.
