*NOTE: This is an unedited archive of a live no-commentary playthrough originally streamed on Twitch (twitch.tv/bippoernesti), which means there may be deaths, restarts or intermissions/interruptions.
---------------
Though this is very much not a completionist run, all the Chronoscepter pieces will be collected and some other secrets will be visited for fun.
I usually tend to play games at a slower and more boring pace, but the movement in Turok flows so well that I can't help but drift and swooce everywhere.
I just wish the quality wasn't so mushy. I'll have to see if there's a way to have the local recordings be higher bitrate than the stream. I mean, I could have a secondary recording software, but that'd probably have an additional impact on performance and my PC's been pretty sluggish for a while now.
Stream title reference is probably obvious, but it's playing on the name of the game and the best way to move around in it.

Stream Title: Turok: Diagonal Runner
Live Notification: Zippin' and zoomin' with Tal'Set
Stream Description: "Plan is to just do a quick-ish playthrough. Gonna be skipping and missing quite a bit of optional areas, hopefully not forgetting any keys or Chronoscepter pieces. I should remember them by now.
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was one of those games I took way too long to finally play. I wasn't into FPS games when it was new, and N64 games were crazy expensive. It's since become one of my favorite shooters ever. The movement and weapons are just so good."

![Terraria (v1.4.5.6) - Revealing Walls Bug [FIXED in v1.4.5.7]
UPDATE 2026 Aug 20: The v1.4.5.7 update fixed this. The monolith still gives extra wall visibility, but now its closer to what it looks like on the other lighting modes.
Original description:
Something I stumbled onto playing the game. Im sure its a bug, but for all I know it could not be, or is already old news, I havent followed the game much after my last run 10+ years ago.
Basically its a combination of things that gives you effectively the ability to peek through any wall your camera can reach. You only need two things, though admittedly theyre a little bit of an ass-ache to get from scratch.
The effect spreads faster with more light sources on screen, so an area with a few torches will light up noticeably faster than having just one source. Ironically, Hallow blocks (Pearlstone, Pearlsand, etc.) are some of the darkest blocks due to a distinctly reduced amount of sparkling on them, staying mostly in shadow even with plenty of torches around.
This is an *incredible* tool for purifying/containing the evil in your world, too. Youll basically get a clean minimap of the entire surroundings so you know whether or not your Clentaminator got everything, and it also lets you build a much clearer border to contain further spread without needing to hope you didnt miss anything.
Basic how-to:
-1) In your Video settings, set the Lighting mode to either *Retro* or *Trippy*, this is mandatory for the effect
-2) Locate and acquire the following (no specific order)
-2a) A night vision source (Night Owl Potion, Night Vision Helmet)
-2b) An Angel Statue
-2c) The Aether mini-biome
-2d) Some torches, or any other light source to kindle the sparks
-3) Dunk the Angel Statue in Shimmer to transmogrify it into an Aether Monolith
-4) Equip the Aether Monolith (Works on Social slots) and consume/equip your night vision source
-5) Wait for the sparkling to start propagating, gradually filling the darkness with light, youll need a light source on-screen for it to begin (screen will turn pitch-black with no light sources), this will also reveal the areas on your map
-5a) OPTIONAL: If you have the Binoculars, you can scan a larger area from one location
The old lighting modes are required for this to work, *Color* and *White* produce much subtler sparkles; you wont get anywhere near this level of clarity on those modes.
Funny thing, this is my second bug video regarding Terrarias lighting, the previous one being in 2011, also being far less interesting or useful. Also also, this is my first Terraria video where I actually have the music playing instead random overly loud music to supplement forgetting to turn the real music on.

Insane how poorly I played. My only solace is that literally nobody watched the stream. I might end up redoing this game sooner because of how bad it went.
At least I got the little elevator trick going at the end.

![Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: Sky or Bye
Another multiple-choice level. This time, instead of the usual normal/hard path choice, you have a choice between a normal path or a more Faustian resolution.
Course ID: Q23-STX-W7G
[0:00-1:26] Sky Path (Low)
- 0:45 Hidden 1UP in the block supporting the door.
- 0:50-0:56 In the Bowser Jr. fight, you can drop the Muncher on him for an instant win, but if it misses youll have to deal with that hazard on the stage. He tends to stomp the P-Switch himself if you let him, which may sometimes cause him to brain himself with the Muncher.
- 0:58 Those Burners can actually crush you if you jump between them as theyre about to cross each other, so be wary of that. I somehow missed this all this time and only noticed when I recorded this.
- 1:07 Another little flaw here, if youre Super Mario when you enter the pipe, you only get the 4000 points instead of the 1UP that you would get if you were Small Mario.
[1:26-2:48] Sky Path (High)
- 1:34 This jump is rather precise, but going through this path gives you a 1UP, a bunch of coins and the Super Mushroom you missed from the lower path. The rest of this run is normal (which I should have cut out).
[2:48-3:16] Bye Path
- By choosing this path, you sacrifice yourself for a quick and easy victory, but you only get the measly 100 points as a reward.
I had an idea of the sacrifice for a skip and really liked it, so for the next level I immediately built the first room before even figuring out what I was going to do for the other part. The WIP title for this level was Mariotransaction, but I wasnt really feeling it when time came to upload. In hindsight, the replacement title wasnt that good either.
There will be another level upload soon after this one because this is where I started what would become a sort of pattern where every normal level is followed by a quick 10-second gimmick level. Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: Sky or Bye](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/vFz-TMXNDjQ/mqdefault.jpg)
![Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: A Valiant Stride in a Nightmare
Short one this time around. This level is actually an approximation of an area in another completely unrelated game. The name is at the bottom of this description.
Course ID: RLH-VM3-V6G
[0:00-1:57] Playthrough
- 0:16 Hidden 1UP here.
- 0:23 Another hidden 1UP here.
- 0:25 Hidden Super Mushroom here.
- 0:32 The last hidden 1UP here. You need to be Super Mario or jump off of something to reach this one.
The boss is kinda ass, but at least it isnt broken like it was in the first revision. The camera wasnt properly locked so you had to know to jump around to get the view high enough for the Buzzy Beetle Shells to drop.
Not much else to say about this level, really.
Its Bloodstained. The reference is Bloodstained. Specifically, a secret area in Bloodstained. Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: A Valiant Stride in a Nightmare](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/vU8K1tj530M/mqdefault.jpg)

*NOTE: This is an unedited archive of a live no-commentary playthrough originally streamed on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/bippoernesti), which means there may be deaths, restarts or intermissions/interruptions.
For the viewers sake, I have implemented chapters that skip the grind portions, hopefully to ease anyone who wants to watch it.
Ive been wanting to do this for years, but Im no Gladstone Gander so I knew the farming was going to eat up a lot of time. The farming alone totals almost an hour. In hindsight, since I lucked out on the Strength Ring, farming the Intelligence Ring was unnecessary, and the time saved by using the Double Hearts from Venus + Manticore was probably more than undone by the time spent farming for Manticore, which I only wanted for that purpose.
The stream title became accidentally funnier when I figured out secula is an actual word and it measures time sort of. Its the plural form of seculum/saeculum, which apparently means a length of time roughly equal to the potential lifetime of a human being or, equivalently, the complete renewal of a human population, which is perfect.
The couple times the Advance Collection menu popped up was when my PS4 controller disconnected, which is happening annoyingly often. The D-pad has gotten pretty bad, registering Up inputs when my thumb is nowhere near the upper half of the D-pad, so I was throwing some unnecessary subweapons around.

Stream Title: Gimme a secula, Dracula, I need some cards first
Live Notification: Spawncamping the Count.
Stream Description: Normal (Vampire Killer) Circle of the Moon playthrough. There will be some farming in a couple spots for some items/cards and its all up to luck on how long each will take. As for the DSS bug, Ill probably do it at least once just to show it off, but I shouldnt need it otherwise.
This is on the Advance Collection, so if the menu pops up, my controller probably disconnected. Freezing might happen too.
Barring any unexpected interruptions, bad luck or colossal blunders, I would estimate the stream to be about 4-5 hours.
