The "Bitter and Old fashioned". Using my favorite Gin, I thought an Old Fashioned style cocktail was in order!!! With hints of grapefruit, almond, wormwood and slightly bitter, this is a great cocktail where the Campari is tamed, but still present.
Ingredients include:
75 mil/2.5 oz Italian Gin (PiuCinque)
10 mil/.33 oz Campari
10 mil/.33 oz Demarara syrup
3 Dashes - Grapefruit bitters
Build in a Rocks glass, give a quick stir
Add a huge chunk of ice, stir for 20 seconds
Express orange oils over the top, garnish with an orange twist.
