I get the Tenta Brolly for some high-tide action. I'll do what I can with it! Not that there's much to do early doors. Just a few Lids and a Maws. A Flyfish mixes things up a bit, to the point where I get myself in to a really bad position, and somehow get myself out of it. Maybe I should have actually moved, though, as the situation gets busy again quickly, and I'm squished against a wall. I finally get back to the basket after being revived, only to stand in rain and under Flyfish missiles. It's like I don't know what I'm doing, but a relatively unfamiliar weapon can do that to a squid. I'm revived again, and try to loose my canopy, but high tide makes Stingers rather difficult to dodge. I just about manage it, and start dropping eggs from Snatchers, because we need them in the basket. I do what I can, as do my squidmates, and we just about pass quota before the wave ends. I'm splatted again, but let's hope that's it for the run.

I get the Carbon Roller next, which is more my speed. It's still high tide, but that's okay. I just about escape a Steelhead bomb, and drag a Maws back to the basket, before heading out to apparently come right back again. I dunno what I'm doing out there. Having a Scrapper come to the basket is good, and we dunk some eggs early. I stop that when a Fish Finger flies in, splatting it with some efficiency, but once back on the turf I realise two squidmates are splatted. I have ink enough to revive one, and that one revives the other. I continue to stick around the basket until a Lid appears above a Steelhead. I roll underneath the Lid, splatting the Steelhead, and finish the wave dunking more eggs, this time exceeding the quota comfortably.

Finally, the bucket. And the tide goes down. I try to celebrate by being tossed by the basket, but it was having none of my nonsense. Early bosses call for a Crab, I would say, and we bag a nice bunch of eggs quickly. I get left off a lift, though, and a twirl of waiting gets me panned by a Chum. I'm revived and look to get on the lift, but a Flipper and a Big Shot appear nearby, so I help splat them before returning to the basket, where the shot eggs may not be getting dunked. Thankfully, they are when I get there, and everything looks under control. I move on to a Fish Finger, and then spend time dunking eggs shot to me from the Big Shot cannon. Everything ends quite swimmingly, if not particularly impressively.

But we have an emergency! The Run isn't finished, not with Joe's appearance. The first lunge looks to be just us shooting his red spot, until two Maws come to tickle my toes. And I do little to drag Joe somewhere useful next, but at least we get more eggs. Falling down doesn't seem to be a problem either, and heading back up finds a red spot to hit with eggs. I'm dodging Joe next and trying to get to the Stinger, which I splat to stop it causing us problems. I drag Joe back to the action, where a lack of eggs has a couple of us pull out our Special weapons, but the other side of Joe apparently has eggs. He's looking a bit peaky already. I do absolutely nothing next, which is a shame, but one more lunge at us and the red spot has been hit enough. Joe inksplodes, and we get a pretty crappy reward of copper scales only. Never mind. Woomy!
