I headed to Pontypool parkrun in my quest to complete the Full Ponty... just Pont y Bala to go! Inadvertently this is probably my most virtuous parkrun to date! We delayed our trip for a few hours so I could give blood as national blood stocks are low. We also answered a call for volunteers as Pontypool parkrun were short of Tail Walkers and Marshals.

It was great to see some friendly parkrun tourist faces as well as meet lots of lovely new parkrunners. It was so good to be back running in South Wales and this was the start of our holiday as we would pick up a campervan the following day and slowly make our way down to Devon to check out Woolacombe Dunes parkrun the following Saturday!

Pontypool parkrun was brilliant and the park was wonderful and held lots of interesting history... as well as a dry ski slope that reminded me of home!
