We headed down to Clipstone for Vicar Water Country Park parkruns 4th event to celebrate Michael Wood's Cowell with him. I try to avoid these early events as they are usually pretty busy, Vicar Water Country Park parkrun was no different! The team here were fantastic and took it all in their stride... Even the horse trotting along at 9am as we were about to start!

This parkrun felt really special, there is so much to see on the way around and the views from the top of the hill are definitely worth the climb! I can't recommend this parkrun highly enough. The route is incredible, the team amazing, and the café even serves a chip butty! What more could you need?

Huge thanks to all the volunteers who made it happen, I think this is a parkrun that will go from strength to strength!
