Week number two in our van adventure took us to the northern coast of Northern Ireland. We had been told we couldn't miss Portrush parkrun and after running there I totally understand why. Historically there is some significance in Portrush parkrun being the world's first ever parkrun entirely on a beach but it's more than that. There is something very special about this parkrun. We enjoyed every single second of it and would definitely return. The pancakes in the cafe were pretty special too.

There is so much to do on this northern coast of Northern Ireland that I would definitely recommend visiting for a week or two, otherwise you'll be missing out. This is an incredible part of the world and this parkrun fits in perfectly.
