We headed to Cross Flatts parkrun in Beeston as I last ran here in 2016! I absolutely loved this visit as there were so many positive changes, especially the shelter in the park funded by parkrun!

I may have given the wrong course instructions to Al who subsequently went wrong but he still managed to win parkrace... congratulations Al! ;)

We were sad not to go to the regular cafe, Sandwiches Galore, as it closed during covid but the cafe in the park was brilliant! Incredible value and a bright and clean space that is super convenient being so close to the parkrun finish.

Huge thanks to the team at Cross Flatts parkrun for a fantastic morning!
