Glad to get more of polarexpress on the channel - a strong player who can kinda go under the radar!
This was not a banner game for me - had too bad of a start with 08. Out of all the viable starting plants in 4P, 08 is the one i struggle the most with by far. Have started going for it more lately so i can better learn how to navigate the early game with it. Here, for instance, i should've been willing to pay $20 for the 15 - plants like 15 & 16 are nice since they remove any need to run the 08 again. Green plants are a lot tougher since you may still need to run 08 with one of them, and that does't make a lot of money.
Polar seemed to be doing really well early on, with the 15 and the west coast all to themselves. Things shifted once Dionis got the 20 for $21 to go along with the 13. This was one of those games where 20 actually stood out as a moneymaker since the market was so bad for so long. Polar had to buy the 24 with trash not exactly being cheap (4-caps don't generally fit well with an early 3-cap, FYI), while Amitss had to pay a bunch of money for the 21. Dionis paid nearly $40 for the 28 a bit later, and that actually worked out really well with the cheap 20 + 13. He ultimately earned the win here with some clever plays that many others wouldn't make, so nice job!
