Once again, a game where i mostly feel good about how i played but got killed by one massive plant drop. This could easily have been a bigger win for my opponent, but i feel i mostly did the right things to hang around after the big drop. Not storing extra trash on 24 the turn before Step 3 was a mistake, but wouldn't have made up the difference.
Maybe i didn't pay enough for the 20, given that coal stayed pretty cheap for most of the game, but i did not think going $30+ for it would work on a map this expensive. Another thing worth considering is my starting build; though i dominated the builds, my early cities were waaaaaaayyyyy more expensive than teokop's. The first 4-5 cities are to be the most important ones to get cheap since you'll eventually power those with your first big plant, and the extra early money could perhaps outweigh losing the builds by 1 city.
