Map Configs: Blue-Brown-Purple in Game 1, Blue-Yellow-Aqua-Red in Game 2
Game 1 is a pretty good demonstration of why you don't give your opponent the 11 at cost in France 2ers. 25 probably went a little too cheap as well, with all the nuclear/green/trash keeping coal more abundant than usual. The rest kinda played itself from there.
The second game, on the other hand, was a neat one. teokop got out to a big early money lead by powering 3 cities on turn 2 with the 16, while i struggled in the early-mid market. Stein didn't have the greatest luck either, and amitss did alright early with 10 + 18.
In the end, teokop ended up playing Stein's usual role in these games, with Stein having to take some bigger plants early compared to his usual style. And i ended up in a rough spot with the 20 + 22, having a couple turns where i didn't use my green plant at all. 21 might have been a mistake because of that, or perhaps it was 20 that was the mistake. One thing i find more and more is that early green plants make it a lot tougher to bid correctly on the big-capacity plants.
