Peanut Island, located about 5 miles north of downtown West Palm Beach, is one of Florida's top snorkeling spots. The water is clear and shallow and you're guaranteed to see all types of marine life. I'll tell you how to get here, what time of day is the best time to snorkel, and give you an idea of what you will see. I've also included footage from the last time I snorkeled here 12 years ago, when I saw a manatee. In this video, we'll see sergeant major, spottail pinfish, different types of colorful parrotfish, flat needlefish, a puddingwife wrasse, Bermuda sea chubs, a blue land crab, a cocoa damselfish, an inshore lizardfish, a bluestriped grunt, a slippery dick, and a French angelfish.
