Amsterdam has about 2,500 houseboats on its canals, so it's only fitting that Amsterdam has a Houseboat Museum. The museum is a houseboat named the Hendrika Maria that was originally a cargo ship built in 1914 and restored in 2008. It's located on the Prinsengracht Canal. When you walk around the Houseboat Museum, you certainly get a good feel for what it's like to live on a houseboat in Amsterdam. Please join me for a self-guided tour in this unique museum!
