If you love nature, then you'll want to visit the Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach, Florida. It features a 3/4 mile long elevated wooden boardwalk that takes you around this wildlife sanctuary, where you can see more than 170 species of birds, as well as alligators, turtles, rabbits, fish, and more! When I went there, it was peak bird nesting season and I also saw the American Alligator, which is always a thrill. I've visited the Wakodahatchee Wetlands a few times in the past few years, and it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Southern Florida.
