Bang Pa-In Palace has been the summer palace of Thai Kings and Queens since the early 17th century. After the palace fell into disrepair, restoration began in the mid-19th century. You can see various royal residences and mansions, a Chinese-style palace, a mult-colored lookout tower, and a memorial garden, but the #1 reason why I wanted to come here was to see the beautiful Divine Seat of Personal Freedon (Phra Thinang Aisawan Thiphya-Art), a Royal Pavilion that is located in the middle of a pond.
