Walking through The Great Pyramid of Giza was one of the coolest things I've ever done. What a unique experience! It was fun but challenging. To think that we walked in the footsteps of Egyptian workers 4,600 years ago who carried treasures and the Pharoah Khufu's body to his final resting place, is mind blowing. This was not an easy walk. The stairs were on a steep incline and we had to walk while bending over a few times where the ceilings were only 4 feet tall. The hardest part was the return trip when there was two-way traffic, so no room to move to the side and no room above you. There are a couple of surprises inside The Great Pyramid, which I mention in the video. This was an experience I will never forget.
Although guides are not usually allowed inside The Great Pyramid, my guide Ahmed was allowed inside to help me since I am recovering from two shoulder injuries.
