Exit Fate is a role playing game made in RPGMaker by SCF. With 75 characters to recruit, a mixture of typical turn based combat and war battles, and an engaging story, the result is a very Suikoden-esque game.

Well, this is a rather familiar sight. Merrick has holed up somewhere in Mayfall just like Keyser did back in the day. We'll need to figure out where he is...right after dealing with two bumbling inept dingbats. You guessed it, Trevor & Sick are back, claiming Daniel's their sworn arch-rival and they intend to grind him into dust and throw him into some random volcano.
...You know guys, if you wanted to be the Vile to Daniel's X, you could ensure you're capable of backing up your boasts cause the duo is a bit of a joke at this point. Trevor does have another charge up move he can do that stings a column pretty bad as well as being able to use his previous charge up column move Dark Slash without needing to charge it up.
Sick? Well, he makes good on his namesake and flounders around doing jack diddly squat cause using a spell on Myst that did a big fact 0 damage or a pointless ailment on Rorschach or Orlando was a swell idea.
Oh, and both guys have low hp. Rorschach at least was very quick with his stealing, nabbing a Darkstrike from Trevor and a Lightstrike from Sick.
After the battle, the inept duo make their cartoon-esque level of escaping and Daniel prepares to look for Merrick...which gets cut short when the man himself comes out and surrenders peacefully.
Merrick only has one important question...why did Bast decide to basically defect from Matrech? As Bast says, the State Army is collapsing, becoming a mere shell of its former self with corruption all over. Bast just want to believe in someone who can pull what Ryan did and bring peace to the nations, hence why he's on Daniel's side. That's enough to convince Merrick to defect as well because, in all honesty, he was getting fed up with the Matrech Guard.
As if his joining Elysium wasn't enough, Nashal from the war battle also joins up with the army.
Stat wise, Merrick & Nashal are similar to Nikolai. Average all around so likely not better than any one in your current party that specializes in a particular stat, but still capable of contributing to a battle without feeling like dead weight. Nashal has a ever so slight lead right now since she has a C rank relationship with Orlando who also has a C rank relation with her.
With all this success going on, one person's feeling a bit down...Ayara. She suddenly begins to feel like she's not needed in Daniel's army, given how busy he's become and how it seems like he's not paying much attention to her. A rather stupid thought honestly...and one that's been building up since Harlinton to be frank. Every soldier counts in a war, no matter how little they contribute as we'll soon see.
After a timeskip, Daniel's in his room and needs to head to the meeting hall since Rock's likely made his way there and everyone needs to discuss what to do with Matrech next.
More next time!
