This track by singer-songwriter and musician Dan Fogelberg from his ninth studio album was one of my favorite songs of 1987--I just liked the way it sounded, with the harmonies and arrangements. "Lonely in Love" went to #2 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, but did not enter the Hot 100, which was certainly disappointing, making it yet another of those singles that I thought deserved to be a bigger hit.
