Movie Theme Special, part 4 of 4
The score for the 1984 film "The River" was written by acclaimed composer and conductor John Williams, and despite the movie underperforming at the box-office, he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Score, with the movie garnering a total of 4 Oscar nominations. I think this is one of his underrated works--I really liked the score a lot, which is filled with some lovely orchestral arrangements that featured flutes, trumpets, and guitars.
