Boulder Saga Storm takes a 2nd place finish at a Legacy Challenge!
*Black Saga Storm* has been lurking in Legacy for years, but _Giant's Boulder_ from The Hobbit just gave it something it was missing. This one-mana artifact enters with scry two, can filter into any color of mana, or blow up any permanent for seven — and _Giant's Boulder_ is the reason this build gets to run _Vault of Whispers_ while still splashing colors.
The game plan is to win with _Tendrils of Agony_ by casting _Beseech the Mirror_ into _Gaea's Will._ This build skips _Echo of Eons_ entirely and instead leans on _Infernal Tutor_ and _Ad Nauseam_ to find its pieces — a tighter, more tutored-up line. _Urza's Saga_ provides a backup plan and grabs _Lion's Eye Diamond_ for the primary game plan, and the full set of _Vault of Whispers_ gives this deck fast, consistent artifact mana to fuel Metalcraft for _Mox Opal._
