Thalia has finally joined the good side. We have Geist of Saint Thalia from Reality Fracture, a two mana value creature for one and a blue, legendary creature, spirit cleric, flying, noncreature spells you cast cost one less to cast, and it's a 1/2. So a lot of people are saying where would this be good? And honestly, I'm not quite sure. It doesn't exactly slot into Modern Ruby Storm or anything else like that. That said, if you're a deck looking to play something like a Baral, Chief of Compliance, Geist of Saint Thalia is likely better. Why is that? Because Baral, Chief of Compliance is instant or sorcery spells. Geist of Saint Thalia is all noncreature spells, so even things like Ruby Medallion, for just an example for you, would still cost one less. Will this be competitive play? I'm not quite sure.
