Black Knight still has the great brawling capabilities from ASU, but it gets even better with an extra 14 HP, more Mag for his Imbues, and a little more to his defenses. This sure makes him seem impossible to deal with now. But because of the new format in ASF, he is very susceptible to crits, which was honestly the only way he could really lose in ASU. Even with the Authority Stars bonus that he gets, his Lck is still below average and is in range for a lot of units to have a decent crit rate even without crit weapons. Another one of his issues in ASU was that his hit rates weren't the best, even with Wishblade equipped. But in ASF, because of the aforementioned Authority Stars, his hit rate got a good buff in addition to the weapon changes where Alondite got a good buff to its hit rate, and because he can get up to SS in Lances, Wishblade gets +8 Lck instead of the +3 Lck from before. This gives him an interesting playstyle at the end of the day because he has to be the one countering for the most part because of his Lck. This means that he has to decide whether to counter with Alondite/Vague Katti for extra Def/Res (in turn lowering the crit damage) or Wishblade to lower the chances to Crit entirely.
