The first ever Average Stats Unlimited Tournament is here! The units participating are the ones that have been performing the best so far in the series along with most of the non-RD units (I obviously didn't include Dheginsea & Karel as they would more than likely win outright). These tournament videos will definitely not be very common to start with since I am doing both RD and non-RD units right now along with a full-time job. So, these videos will either be once every month or every other month (Probably the latter) for the time being. Perhaps when the RD units are complete and/or more non-RD units are in the series, I can make these videos more frequent. The Google Doc below also has some information about the units in this tournament. Some units have been nerfed while some have been completely overhauled (Zelgius/Edelgard in particular). Also, after this tournament, I will be using a different set of stats for a lot of units in this series as sort of a "patch". I didn't like how some units were performing so far in the series, so I gave a decent amount of units some minor buffs (5%-15% extra in total growth rates) to get them up to par, but also some of the really bad units were given even more (15%-25% extra in total growth rates). This does mean that some of the records of the units pre-tournament may or may not be inflated, but I felt that this was a necessary change for the series going forward. If I have the time, I may re-do certain videos to give the units the records they deserve.
Rules:
The tournament format is Double Elimination, so every unit gets two lives. Every unit starts in the Winners Bracket, but if they lose, they are sent to the Losers Bracket where if they lose once more, are officially eliminated. All of the rounds are best of 3 up until it gets to Top 8 and beyond where it changes to a best of 5 for the rest of the tournament. The way that the turn order goes in this is like normal at first (the unit with higher base speed acts first), but after the first round, the loser of the previous round gets to choose the turn order for the next round. This continues until the set is complete.

Next Step Toward The Unknown - Ys VIII
The unit who goes first, is the one with the higher base speed stat. (Unless someone has Shade/Stillness where they choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is, goes first. And for the tournament, if both units have the same speed, the higher seed goes first.
For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
