Calill is one of those units that is pretty decent in most of their stats but doesn't particularly excel in any of them. This, along with some fairly low Mag in comparison to other mages in the series, doesn't give her much to work with. The good thing about her is that she has access to the best non-mastery skill in the game, Nihil, as it gives her a much better chance to survive combats from units that really rely on their mastery. However, with her poor bulk, this is really only effective against other mages since they wouldn't be able to deal big damage against her unless they crit. The other thing that is going for her is that she has a pretty good Spd stat. So that paired with the Rexflame+ that she gets for being a Fire focused Arch Sage, she can actually double a lot more units than you'd think in this series even with the enhanced Spd stats that a lot of units got. And in the same token, it also lets her avoid getting doubled against some of the more speedy units in the series, which just further increases her chances of survival and getting that Flare proc that she so desperately needs to not only deal damage, but also heal off any damage that she takes. Her initiation rate with her 45 Lck is pretty good, but for the most part, she would rather be on the receiving end of things since she has such good Spd. Just as long as the unit initiating against her isn't a particularly strong physical unit, as that would spell the end for her.
