Hello everyone once again! In today's car commercial of the past, we have both the 1992 Jeep Cherokee and 1992 Jeep YJ featured, in shall we say in a unique commercial, depicting the planning of a commercial, of the car that it is advertising in this commercial. We'll take one of these two vehicles, the Jeep Cherokee, and get into the specifications shall we?
The base engine for the 1992 Cherokee was a , 2.5 Liter, inline 4 cylinder engine that produced 117 Horsepower at 5,000 RPM with 135 FT-LB of torque at 3,500 RPM. The optional engine was a 4.0 Liter, 6 cylinder engine that produced 190 Horsepower at 4,750 RPM, with 225 FT-LB of torque at 4,000 RPM.
The Cherokee came in 2 body styles, a 2 or 4 door. The drivetype came with Rear Wheel Drive Standard, with 4X4 being an option.
The 1992 Cherokee came in two transmission types; a base 5 speed manual, or an optional 4 speed automatic transmission.
Curb weight for the base Cherokee came in at 2985 LBs. Expect to add on 100-500 LBs more with extra options tacked on.
