Hello and welcome to another car commercial of the past! Here in today's car commercial, we have a commercial featuring the 2002 Nissan Altima with a unique song named "Cars" playing in the background. Lets get into the specifications on the Altima shall we?
The base engine for the 2002 Nissan Altima was the 2.5 Liter, Inline Four Cylinder engine that produced 175 Horsepower at 6000 RPM with 180 LB-FT of torque at 4000 RPM. The Altima came with 2 other engine choices. One was 3.5 Liter, Variable Valve Timed, 6 cylinder engine that produced 228 Horsepower at 246 LB-FT of torque. The second optional engine choice only came with the sport oriented SE-R trim and that engine was a factory tuned version of the 3.5 Liter that produced 260 Horsepower at 274 LB-FT of torque.
The base transmission for the Altima was a 5 speed manual, with a 4 speed automatic being optional on all levels of the Altima, a 5 speed automatic that only came with the 3.5 Liter engine or SE-R, and a 6 speed manual that only came as standard with the SE-R trim.
The Altima came in only a 4 door sedan body style. Also, front wheel drive was the only layout available for the Altima.
The MSRP for the base 2002 Altima was $23,325, which is $29,317 in 2015.
