Hello everyone once again to another car commercial of the past! In today's commercial, we have a 1986 Toyota Corolla FX16 hatchback featured. Lets get into specifications of the FX16 shall we?
The base engine for the FX16 was a 1.6 Liter, Inline 4 cylinder, SOHC, carbureted, engine that produced 90 Horsepower at 4,800 RPM. The sole optional engine for the FX16 was a 1.6 Liter, Inline 4 cylinder, 16-valve DOHC, Electronically Fuel injected, engine that produced 112 Horsepower at 6,600 RPM and with 97 LB-FT of torque at 4,800 RPM.
The sole layout for the FX16 was a Front Wheel Drive layout, which was common at the time, as most vehicles in the FX16's class mostly had a Front Wheel Drive layout.
A 5 speed manual was the standard on all FX16's, while a 3 speed automatic was offered as an optional transmission choice.
