A slightly updated version of the rom I used to film the CRT video. One of the many changes I made from that day to the release of the Xmas rom obviously must have triggered that room transition bug I mentioned in the video, as this one doesn't seem to have it. Please note that there were various other (less serious) bugs that I fixed in the Xmas version, the most important one being where pushing down while jumping stopped you from jumping again (just crouch and you'll be able to jump again!). It might be interesting to play, especially as it seems to be the most stable one:

Here is the "unstable" version but with more enemies. As I said in the video, if you have any trouble with the game freezing in certain areas (the bug seems to be restricted to a couple of entrance areas and one in Marble) then you can simply press START when entering the affected areas without interacting with any of the enemies and that seems to to not trigger the bug - weird, right?!

In this version I simply removed a few enemies from the affected areas and it seems to alleviate the freezing problem. Note that it's not due to the number of enemies being too much, as the 2/3 rooms affected are actually very light when compared to other areas of the castle, it's just a strange little bug that I'll fix soon.
