One of the many changes I made from that day to the release of the Xmas rom obviously must have triggered that room transition bug I mentioned in the video, as this one doesn't seem to have it. Please note that there were various other (less serious) bugs that I fixed in the Xmas version, the most important one being where pushing down while jumping stopped you from jumping again (just crouch and you'll be able to jump again!). As I said in the video, if you have any trouble with the game freezing in certain areas (the bug seems to be restricted to a couple of entrance areas and one in Marble) then you can simply press START when entering the affected areas without interacting with any of the enemies and that seems to to not trigger the bug - weird, right?!dropbox.com/scl/fi/p0dcii4bsdcihmgbfn4g2/Pigsy-Castlevania-Sotn-Xmas-2023-Demo-unstable-but-with-more-enemies.bin?rlkey=fn2p9gq3roxoegz9hxl6sjnbc&dl=0In this version I simply removed a few enemies from the affected areas and it seems to alleviate the freezing problem.
