Located at Wilmington College off Quaker Way. Clinton County tests their sirens on the 1st Saturday of the month at noon, weather-permitting.
Met up with Jeremy and Dominic (SuperSirex127) at this OA-4 in Wilmington for the First Saturday in July. It was my first time hearing an OA-4, and it was relatively quiet, so I'm wondering if airhorn is taking its toll on the speaker drivers in the sirens throughout Clinton County by now, as the county normally does not take care of or maintain their sirens very well despite being two way capable.
You may be able to hear a couple nearby 435 Hz Vortexes start up in the beginning; and also included is an ambience of the downtown OA-4 doing full Hi-Lo after the test (that particular unit ignores cancel tones, as well as the alert portion of the test).
I did not check on the Williams Park Vortex after the test, but I'm assuming the rotator is still broken as it was last month. Enjoy!
