Back in mid-September I decided to go out and hear a 508 since I hadn't heard one in awhile. This one is located at N Way St and Burt St in Barberton and replaced an EOWS 612 in the fall of 2014. The old siren remains abandoned about a block away.
Sirens in Barberton and Norton are tested every Saturday at noon during severe weather season (April through October) for a short alert cycle. Enjoy!
